Heat or cool a fluid medium by transferring heat from one liquid to another. The gasketed plate heat exchanger is composed of a series of corrugated plates, which are assembled between the frame and the pressure plate. and the gasket acts as the seal between the plates. The fluid on both sides of the plate usually flows counter current through the heat exchanger, which can achieve the same working condition of the shell-tube heat exchanger. This provides the most efficient heat transfer performance to achieve very close temperature difference,In other word, the temperature difference between the outlet and inlet medium is come to small. In the removable plate heat exchanger with gaskets, the plates are equipped with elastic gaskets, which seal the channel and guide the medium to the spare channel. The plates are assembled between the frame plates and the pressure plates and compressed by tightening the bolts installed between these plates. The channel plate and pressure plate are suspended from the upper bearing rod and fixed in place by the lower guide rod, which is fixed on the pillar.This design is easy to maintain and adjust the heat exchange by reducing or adding plates. The reasonable matching of the plate ripple angle can greatly improve the heat exchange effect per unit heat exchange area, adjust the liquid resistance, save the heat exchange area, reduce the investment cost and shorten the investment recovery time. The flow, physical properties, pressure drop and temperature difference of the liquid determine the number and size of the plates. The chemical properties and corrosion characteristics of the liquid determine the materials of the plates and gaskets.Different corrugated plate structure designs not only improve the turbulence, but also form many supporting points, which can withstand the pressure difference between the media.

Maintenance Process
